All quotations provided are free of charge unless otherwise stated.Quotations are only valid for 30 days. After this time, a new quotation will be required at a cost equivalent to our hourly rate.Prices quoted are based on information provided at that time and may be subject to a site visit.Any additional work requested after the initial quotation has been accepted may incur extra charges, which will always be discussed and agreed beforehand.

Bookings & Deposits

Job start dates are confirmed once the quotation has been accepted and, where applicable, any required deposit has been received.Whilst we always aim to keep to agreed schedules, delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside of our control. These may include, but are not limited to:Poor weather conditionsIlness or emergenciesSupplier delaysUnforeseen structural defectsChanges requested by the CustomerShould any of the above happen, we will always inform you in advance, and keep you updated, where possible.

Payments

Payment terms will be agreed in writing prior to the commencement of any works. Depending on the size and scope of the project, payment may include an initial deposit, staged payments throughout the duration of the works, and a final balance payable upon completion.All invoices must be paid in full within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to make payment within this period may result in the suspension of ongoing works, delays to future works, and SP Building Services reserving the right to recover any outstanding sums through appropriate legal channels, together with any reasonable costs incurred where permitted by law.This clause does not affect your statutory rights.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the safe and efficient completion of the agreed works, customers are responsible for providing SP Building Services with safe, reasonable, and uninterrupted access to the property during agreed working hours. Where required, customers must ensure that suitable access to water and electricity is available throughout the duration of the project.Customers are expected to attend all pre-arranged appointments or provide reasonable notice should an appointment need to be postponed or rescheduled. The customer is also responsible for removing or adequately protecting any valuable, fragile, or personal belongings within the work area prior to the commencement of works.It is the customer's responsibility to disclose any known hazards, including but not limited to the presence or suspected presence of asbestos, hazardous materials, structural defects, or any other conditions that may affect the safe execution of the works. SP Building Services accepts no liability for delays, additional costs, or damage resulting from the failure to disclose such information.The customer agrees to make all payments in accordance with the agreed payment terms. Failure to provide access, attend agreed appointments, disclose relevant information, or make payments when due may result in delays to the project, suspension of works, or additional charges where reasonably incurred. Nothing in this clause affects the customer's statutory rights under applicable UK law.

SP Building Services may take photographs or videos of works carried out before, during, and after completion for quality assurance, record keeping, and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials. Reasonable care will be taken to ensure that personal information, vehicle registration numbers, house numbers, and individuals are not identifiable without prior consent.By instructing SP Building Services to carry out the works, the customer grants permission for photographs of the completed works to be used for these purposes, unless they notify us in writing before the commencement of the project that they do not wish their property to be featured.SP Building Services will always respect customer privacy and will not disclose personal information or the precise location of a property without the customer's prior written consent. Any request to opt out of photography or promotional use will be accommodated wherever reasonably practicable.
